ABOUT WEST WINDSOR TENNIS PROGRAM

The West Windsor Tennis Program provides group as well as private tennis lessons and coaching to youth and adults of all abilities. All lessons are directed by PTR certified tennis coaches Sat Jagtap and Sunil Jagtap. The program has three sessions: Spring, Summer, and Fall. All lessons are held at the Hendrickson Drive Tennis Complex located across from the West Windsor-Plainsboro High School South in West Windsor, New Jersey. Click here for location

  Program Registration

Program Registration is online only through West Windsor Recreation Community Pass. We recommend having your account setup before registration opens. To register for the Tennis programs you must have an account setup for West Windsor Recreation only. Please note that usernames & passwords for other community programs will not work for West Windsor Tennis program. You do not need to be a resident of West Windsor Township to register.

To avoid disappointment sign-up early as many classes fill-up quickly! If a class is full please use the wait list option as a spot may open up or we may create a new class to fill demand.   Class Levels

•  To maintain a level of consistency in the lessons please read the class descriptions and prerequisites outlined on the session page before registering. Also please do not register based on convenience and not skill level. This will help to ensure in the proper development and enjoyment for the entire class.

•  If you are not sure of the level please contact us before registering to avoid any class change issues once the session starts. Coaches reserve the right to move a player to a different group if they are not in the correct level class if space allows else that player may be withdrawn.

  Inclement Weather

•  In case of inclement weather we will update class status by phone call or text if time is limited or else by email.

• Please make sure the cell phone number and email address in your community pass account can also be used when trying to contact you regarding class cancellations and rescheduling so there are no issues. For any contact information corrections please email us.

  Tennis Complex Rules

All tennis courts are available for residents and non-residents to use and enjoy. The Division of Recreation and Parks along with West Windsor Tennis Program reserves the right to use the courts for lessons, tournaments or leagues at all tennis court facilities owned by West Windsor Township. These reserved times will be posted at the tennis complex and are subject to change.

TOWNSHIP CODE 122-17 PROHIBITS COMMERCIAL USE OF ANY TOWNSHIP OWNED TENNIS COURT FACILITY AND ANY PRIVATE OR GROUP LESSONS CONDUCTED BY COACHES OR INSTRUCTORS NOT EMPLOYED BY WEST WINDSOR TOWNSHIP.  THIS WILL BE STRICTLY ENFORCED.

Proper tennis etiquette is expected at all times. Tennis sneakers must be used and shirts must be worn on the courts. No loud or abusive language. Only tennis is allowed to be played on the courts. In-line skating, roller hockey, skateboards, soccer, badminton, pickleball, etc. are not permitted. Complete rules and regulations are posted at the complex.
