The West Windsor Tennis Program provides Spring Tennis lessons and coaching to adults ages 18-59 years old. All lessons are directed by PTR certified tennis coaches Sat Jagtap and Sunil Jagtap. All lessons are held at the Hendrickson Drive Tennis Complex located across from the West Windsor-Plainsboro High School South in West Windsor, New Jersey. Click here for location.

Class sizes are limited to six students per court, are first-come first-serve and many classes fill-up quickly.
To avoid disappointment sign-up early! If a class is full please use the wait list option as a spot may open or we may create a new class to fill demand.
In case of inclement weather we will update class status via phone if time permits or else by email. Please make sure the phone number and email address used when registering are correct so there are no issues when trying to contact you regarding class cancellations and rescheduling. Please email us for any contact information corrections.
No make-up lessons unless rainout or cancelled. Rainouts will be made up at the end of the session or different lesson.
• To maintain a level of consistency in the lessons please read the class descriptions and prerequisites outlined below before registering. This will help to ensure in the proper development and enjoyment for the entire class.
• Note coaches may move a player to a different group if they are in the wrong level class. If you are not sure of your level please contact us before registering.
|Developmental||BEGINNER - New to the sport of tennis, never had lessons, has played very little, or needs more practice to build and improve technique in all strokes.||Learn parts of the tennis court, Scoring, Grips, Forehand/Backhand Groundstrokes, Forehand/Backhand Volley, Serve & Serve Return, Rallying, Playing Points.|
|Fundamental||ADVANCED BEGINNER - Has played tennis, has had lessons, is familiar with scoring, positioning, and all strokes. Needs improvement in overall technique and stroke consistency.||Forehand/Backhand Groundstrokes, Forehand/Backhand Volley, Lobs/Overheads, Serve & Serve Return, Court Positioning, Footwork, Doubles Play.|
|Competitive||INTERMEDIATE - Has played tennis for several years, competes in leagues, can hit all major strokes with consistency, placement, and power.||Various drills emphasizing different shots (topspin, slice, lob, volleys, overheads), Court Positioning, Footwork, Strategy, Match Play.|
|Private Lessons||Open to all levels.||More individualized instruction geared toward improving specific parts of your game. See Private Lessons page for details.|
